Leadership Advancement SocietyĪfter you receive your Certification in Leadership in Action, you are challenged to continue your participation in the program and to continue learning by earning at least 10 points every fiscal year after your Certification year. Becoming Certified in this program shows your future potential employer or graduate school interviewers that you are dedicated to bettering yourself and your leadership skills. Members who become Certified in LiA can receive a custom letter that showcases the skills developed through participating in the programming. Once you earn 75 points and become Certified in Leadership in Action, you will receive: Jocelyn Macaraeg of the Alpha Theta Chapter at Rutgers earning her Leadership in Action Certification. Enroll in Leadership in Action to earn your points today. This includes, but is not limited to a leadership position, coaching position, project coordinator and so on. Receive points for being a leader within the past five years and upon entering college either within Phi Sigma Pi or outside of Phi Sigma Pi. Leadership Position (1 Point per Position- Up to 4 Total) Receive points for courses that you've taken outside of Phi Sigma Pi, including any leadership or professional development courses. Leadership Development (1 Point per Course- Up to 4 Total) How you choose to earn your points is completely up to you Held locally at the Chapter level (Collegiate or Alumni), these Modules explore a topic more in-depth and are led by Facilitators who have completed Facilitator. Watch a video brought to you by Leadership in Action on skills and topics that include, Adapting to Change, Budget Successfully and Adding LiA to LinkedIn. During each hour-long Lunch & Learn, panelists, discuss topics and skills such as leadership, diversity and professional development. The Leadership in Action Lunch & Learn Webinar Series is a collaboration with professionals to teach Members about new leadership skills and specific topics.
